In comparison to other label families overrun with a stable of talent and endless finances, the arsenal of Cash Money was comparatively limited, and that's definitely a good thing, as Mannie Fresh cooks up Dirty South beats like few can and the boys deliver their trademark raunch and style so easily identifiable. While No Limit Records was at the pinnacle of its game, Cash Money quietly positioned itself to inherit the crown with a string of chart-topping hits and when the Cash Money empire began its downward slope, many looked to Juvenile and company to inherit the crown. Throughout the '90s and well into early part of the new millennium, the Cash Money mafia carried the Dirty South flag in a way few other labels/groups have. ![]()
